As Chairman and CEO of Haig Branding, Dr. Bill Haig is responsible for the
overall planning and creative supervision of client company logos,
website home page design and all creative branding strategy and
integrated elements.
Bill has worked in the field of logo design and branding for
over forty years. Upon retirement he pursued a PhD applying his
knowledge of successful logo design and branding to website marketing
optimization. His PhD research included a unique online logo and
home page testing methodology to test success before launch. This
is a considerable assurance factor for website and branding success.
Dr. Haig is considered the authority in the application of source
credibility principles in communication persuasion to the design
of the company logo and company website home page. He coined the
term, credibility- based logo design referred to in many published
articles and his book, The Power of Logos: How to Create Effective
Company Logos, NY: Wiley, 1997
Prior to establishing Powerlogos Design, Dr. Haig worked with
logo design firms including design legend, Saul Bass (AT&T,
United Way, and Alcoa among others.) He also held top branding
positions with a major petroleum and transportation company. He
now works with small and medium size companies on a personal basis.
Dr. Haig holds a Ph.D. in Management
and Organizational Change from Southern Cross University, a major
graduate business school in Australia, 2006. His M.A. is in Communication
and Marketing from the University of Hawaii, with honors, 1979.
His B.A. is in Psychology and Marketing from UCLA, 1962. |
